After killing Cordova and betraying both the Stinger Mantis crew and the ISB by calling in an attack that led Darth Vader and the Imperial forces to the Jedi archives, Bode used the final compass to hide away on Tanalorr with Kata.īode is correct that bringing more people to Tanalorr will draw more attention to the planet. ![]() Although Bode would have been happy with the small Stinger Mantis crew and his daughter Kata traveling there, he voiced concern throughout Star Wars Jedi: Survivor about the number of people in the Hidden Path and moving them to Tanalorr, and how this could endanger the safety of Kata, despite Cal offering to protect both of them. It was the idea of bringing the Hidden Path to Tanalorr that was the main instigator in Bode's final actions, and although what he did was wrong, his concerns were valid. Cal used the Force - as indicated by the then-deceased Cere's voice guiding him through - to help guide Greez and the Mantis through in time to track Bode to the planet, where Jedi: Survivor's final showdown took place. Therefore, he brings it back to Cordova, who is able to repair it, but with this now being the only functional compass, it is a shocking moment in Jedi: Survivor when one of Cal's closest allies, Bode Akuna, is revealed to have been working for the Imperial Security Bureau the whole time and kills Cordova in cold blood before stealing the compass, as Cordova's knowledge of past technology as a Jedi scholar seemed to be the key to potentially replicating it going forward.Īlthough Cal and the remaining Stinger Mantis crew were able to use the arrays on Koboh to clear a tunnel through the abyss, these overloaded and failed, and the path started to close. ![]() Cal is able to take the final remaining compass off Dagan Gera after their final battle, but it is damaged. ![]() When Cal reunites with Cere Junda on Jedha, he finds her and her mentor, Jedi scholar Eno Cordova, rebuilding the Jedi archives alongside the Anchorites.
